today seems a great day to take one more step on the journey, soft launch of the happy party in London, at club surya near the angel,  ( surya means sun in Hindi )

starting the party gently, in London partly inspired and motivated by the recent riots, where obviously there are some people seeking a better life, after 6 years of happiness coaching… based on some simple themes…

a. happiness is a choice, and its your responsibility.

b. people with fulfilling work, either paid or gift, are happier

c. passion is key. find it and follow it.

a. you can choose it. look at nick.  if he can, i believe you can too. of course its easier not to, few good things in life come easily

b. homes/jobs/education/health/defence – people on benefits should contribute towards society, a full working week, according to how they can most contribute, according to their passion. from coaching runners, to clearing weeds, to chatting to old people over three cups of tea.  a mentor should assistand monitor their performance, encouraging them to create more and more value in their community. people on health benefits should see the cost of their care, to understand more. there are limits. education should  be provided more and more. it brings change. adequate homes should be available – for pensioners, kids,  and others, as well as asylum seekers, but asylum seekers should come in at the “worst” level, and not “the average” it is crazy that UK citizens who are or have worked get treated less well long term. remove the bias gently.    offer all military a 12 month sabbatcical on full pay, to follow their passion , and see if GDP rises and/or homeland security decreases. bring back PRIDE in self and community, so policing is less needed. remove paperwork from teachers and police and more. pass things to the people, as the politicians say ( and they dont seem good at filling paper legally themselves… ) let people lead by exaple. trust them!

c. whether for art, commerce, sport, education – or some of all 4 – if people had passion in one of these would they have rioted. maslows motivation – true happiness comes in at top , this should be expanded, not consumerism at base.
