Organization Background/Introduction
Beyond Youth Sports is a registered sports Academy for Children of all backgrounds, also orphans and street kids. We are situated in the Wakiso-, Masaka- and Kalangala-Districts. BYS is an affiliate to Uganda Youth Football Association (UYFA) under The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA). Our aim is to develop youth sports from the grassroots to greater heights in Uganda.
Formed in 2009 and registered at the registrar’s office in 2010, our priority is to identify children aged between 5 to 18 years, both Boys and Girls that come from both disadvantaged but also advantaged backgrounds.
We started with 6 street children/orphans and currently have signed up some 300 kids from different parts of the country, among them several orphans.

We work with children from several backgrounds: street kids, orphans, kids from poor families and those from well to do families. After we discovered that know one was coming up to develop and nature young people’s talents, we came up with the vision of forming up Beyond Youth Sports to ensure that we bring joy to the kids with sad life.

Project objective
Promote child development through sports by nurturing talented children in sports from various social settings.
Donosti cup
Next [2012] year we are planning to make a trip to Donosticup in Spain and to participate in this World Youth Football Event that takes place every year at another destination.
We would like to enable our disadvantaged children who have talents in football participate and meet other kids in the world to share different ideas and experiences.
We want to bring out our story of street-football in the World Kids Football Tournament and pay with CO2e-Certificates and Solar Hotdogs.
We propose to come over to tell you how that all went and teach flemish youngsters how to make solar cookers and solar hot-dogs and how the Clean Development Mechanism under the CO2e-Certificate Emission Trading System works by playing “CDM” with our CO2e-certificates.
It will be excellent if we get support from you and manage to make our First Dream of traveling to Europe come true.
